The hotel is located near the cathedral square in the center of Ciudad Rodrigo, housed in a historic building, an old palace, with gardens overlooking the river. The Town Hall of Ciudad Rodrigo is also nearby, contributing to its convenient location.

The hotel had a great central location overlooking a vibrant square, and the king room I booked was equipped with conveniences like an electronic key card, multi-channel television, and a study table.

Ensure you choose the king room with a balcony for the excellent location right next to the Cathedral and the amenities like climate control.

I had a delightful interlude at a lovely older style hotel in a great location. My room overlooked the square and the hotel provided convenient parking nearby. The furniture had a charming, slightly shabby feel. The breakfast buffet was not appealing, but I found a small cafe that served delicious freshly squeezed orange juice and iberico jamon. I would highly recommend this hotel.

-Situated in a historical building in a quiet square next to the cathedral. -Minibar with 2 complimentary bottles of water that they replenish every day. -The reception and common areas on the ground floor are modern. The rooms and corridors on the upper floors are old. Spacious room. . -Very good price for a weekend in March (50 euros/night) without breakfast.
Breakfast: it is not a buffet, besides we asked expressly (for some comments we read), we were told to sit down (it was a question whose answer could only be yes or no). They gave us the breakfast menu, there are several to choose from, cheapest one costs 5 euros and consists of 1 coffee, 1 croissant and 1 juice. We left and 2 days we had breakfast in other cafeterias in Ciudad Rodrigo, better and cheaper. -We asked for a room with a double bed and they gave us 2 singles together. They didn't tell us when we checked in and when we asked. they told us it was subject to availability, As we saw in the plans. there were only 2 double rooms out of 10 on our floor, So it's hard to say if there are any available. photos do not reflect reality: there is no breakfast buffet. are there so many bath gels/amenities in the bathroom,

The hotel is very well located in the centre of the lovely city of Cuidad Rodrigo. Receptionist very helpful, room clean and fairly spacious. Parking was no problem for us in May, but restrictions apply and this might be a problem in the summer.
The beds were uncomfortable and the fittings in the room and bathroom rather tired. By far the biggest problem was lack of sound insulation to next door - you could hear every word through the wall. Regrettably, this would put me off staying in this hotel again.

The queen room was airy, I felt like at home. The bed was comfy and there were an air conditioner and a balcony. The service was good with parking in front of the hotel. The staff were pleasant and a great breakfast was provided.

I loved staying at this hotel. Its central location is perfect for exploring the ancient center of this city with ease. Additionally, the room was spacious and clean, and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Also, the hotel facilities were excellent, especially the parking, which was easily accessible.
Absolutely nothing.

Due to a mistake on our part we did not book the Parador at Ciudad Rodrigo which looked excellent however the Conde was more than adequate and good value for money.
Not very busy and lacked atmosphere we were the only people in the dining room for dinner and breakfast

Beautifull building, bedroom and situation in Ciudad Rodrigo. friendly staff.
It's in a old building and you can ear what's going on in other places, principally if you stay in the 1st floor.

Enjoyed my city break at a lovely hotel in a great location. Rooms were spacious and some had nice balconies. Breakfast was good and available in two different options. The hotel staff was welcoming and helpful.
The walls between rooms were thin and noise could be heard from the next room. Parking around the area could be a bit difficult.

Accomodation, staff, service and meals (breakfast and dinner) were excellent. Would help if dinner menu had English translation. Our group was 2 grandparents and two grandchildren (aged 4 and 15) - - we all enjoyed ourselves. Excellent location with quick access to motorway. Very good value for money - would stay again.
